An avid maritime history and folklore enthusiast, Crowe provides his expert commentary about the strange and bizarre maritime happenings on the lake and river including the Christmas Tree ship disaster, the Civil War-era “Lady Elgin” mystery, and a stirring retelling of the 1915 Eastland Disaster as the cruise passes the actual location of the worst U.S. peace-time maritime accident.
